A couple years ago I wrote a series of posts on Movie Monsters and my take on the classics. Since I have had some questions about my thoughts on them lately, I thought I would repost these blog entries, to share my opinions.
Part 1 is about Vampires and Werewolves, the 2 main classic movie monsters, and how they have been presented in movies and culture.

Part 2 is about Zombies. They are sooooo saturated in pop culture right now, and it’s starting to wear thin on me. I hate to say I consider myself a “zombie hipster” but it does feel that way sometimes.

And Part 3 is about what I think the next big movie monster craze should be, Mummies. Yes we had The Mummy set of movies with Brendan Fraser, and I did really enjoy those, but I think there is room for more. MORE. MORE MUMMIES!
